Position Title: HR/Payroll Administrator

Location: Dallas, TX: Hybrid Model- onsite/work-from-home combo


Integer is seeking an HR/Payroll Administrator to join our agency.

The HR/Payroll Administrator completes administrative aspects of payroll by compiling payroll data, processing bi-monthly payroll and maintaining payroll records. What Youll Do In this Role:

Pays regular full-time and part-time employees by maintaining payroll data; updating payroll records; collecting employee status sheets, W-4s, direct deposit, garnishments, loan and benefit information, etc.; accurately keying in all payroll related information into appropriate payroll/HR systems; calculating pay and deductions; issuing checks; preparing manual checks when necessary; resolving payroll discrepancies; researching information and answering questions/concerns.

Prepares payroll reports and compiles information by calculating summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave of absences, resolving payroll discrepancies and requesting payments to third party vendors as needed.

Ensures accuracy of payroll/benefit information by auditing payroll deductions and HR data input spreadsheet and communicating discrepancies to appropriate team members.

Provides timely communication and training to employees and managers as it relates to time card processes by conducting semi-monthly timecard training, follow up on delinquent time reports, auditing records for accuracy, and answering related questions.

Pays third party vendors by auditing benefit deductions each payroll and ordering checks from accounts payable as needed.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/seminars, reviewing professional publication, etc.

Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping payroll information confidential, keeping abreast of the payroll processing system, wage/tax laws, corresponding with payroll provider to resolve payroll system errors, following payroll policies and communicating with employees as questions arise.

Ensures accuracy of accrual information and prepares year-end processing by auditing and adjusting accumulators, entering taxable fringe benefit information and coordinating with payroll provider to ensure timeliness and accuracy of employee W-2s and government tax records.

Contributes to team effort by offering support to all Human Resources team to accomplish related results.

The Experience Youll Bring:
  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 2-3 years of payroll experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidence and protect Human Resources/Payroll information by keeping information confidential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of payroll regulations (FLSA), wage/tax law, record keeping/administration required.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail a must; ability to work with extreme accuracy under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills essential.
  • Ability to work overtime with little advance notice.
  • Solid knowledge of Word for Windows, Excel, and 10 Key.
